Medicine (MBBS)

The six-year medical education program at Caucasus International University prepares students to excel as medical doctors with a curriculum aligned with international standards, specifically the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) guidelines. Course Details
This comprehensive program requires the completion of 360 ECTS credits over 12 semesters, covering essential areas in basic, clinical, and behavioral sciences. Students participate in modules ranging from anatomy, biochemistry, and pathology to specialized fields like emergency medicine, pediatrics, and surgery. Clinical skills are honed through simulated and real clinical environments, bedside teaching, and hands-on practice. Graduates earn a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree upon completion and, after gaining a state certificate, are eligible to practice under supervision as junior doctors in accordance with Georgian law.
