MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
The double degree Master’s Program in “Management and Information Technologies” offers future Master’s students an internationally accredited, unique educational experience. This program is a result of an international collaboration between Zwickau University of Applied Sciences (WHZ) in Germany and four partner universities from Asia and the South Caucasus, including the International Black Sea University (IBSU) in Georgia, Kazakh-American Free University (KAFU), Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), and Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics (INAI.KG). Designed to blend professional skills with computer science, business information systems, and management knowledge, the program also emphasizes the development of intercultural abilities, preparing students for the demands of a globalized economy. Accredited by ASIIN (Germany) and recognized by the EQE (Georgia), this program equips graduates to make meaningful contributions in both the international and regional economies. Career paths for graduates span across IT project management, digital transformation, strategy development, software engineering, business intelligence, and more. Completing this program awards students two diplomas—one from IBSU in Georgia and one from WHZ in Germany—marking them as well-prepared leaders in management and information technology.

The joint Master’s study program in “Management and Computer Science” offers a rigorous, internationally-minded curriculum, with enrolment conditions jointly established and monitored by its partner universities. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, Business Administration, International Relations, or Language Science. Admission requires passing a general Master’s Exam, a B2-level English language proficiency test (unless exempted by prior qualifications), and an interview that assesses motivation, language proficiency, and foundational knowledge in computer science and business administration. The interview, conducted online by a panel from IBSU, WHZ, and two external experts, focuses on program-related topics. Applicants with certified B2-level English proficiency or an English-taught degree are exempt from the language exam. Selection considers a motivation letter and GPA in the case of equal points. Required documents include an application form, ID, passport, notarized diploma copies, educational documentation, and a military registration document, if applicable. Specializations within the program—Business Allrounder, IT/Project Manager, Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Scientific Secretary/Scientist—prepare students for diverse career paths.
